By car (GPS):

Enter "415 Route du Nant Robert, 74450 Le Grand-Bornand" directly

From major cities:

• Lyon: A41 → Annecy Nord exit → D909 toward Thônes → D4 toward Le Grand-Bornand (about 1 hour and 45 minutes)
• Macon / Bourg-en-Bresse: A40 (Autoroute Blanche) → Exit 16 Bonneville → D12 toward Thônes → D4 toward Le Grand-Bornand
• Annecy: The Aravis Mountains are easily accessible: → Take the D909 toward Thônes → Take the D4 toward Le Grand-Bornand (about 45 minutes)

Important for winter: The roads are well cleared of snow, but be sure to bring special equipment (snow tires or snow chains/snow socks).

In case of very bad weather, it is recommended to access the area via Annecy (the Col de la Colombière is closed in winter)

By public transportation From Annecy:

From the Grand-Bornand bus station:

• During the winter and summer seasons (check the dates when service begins): Line G Auberge Nordique, “Belvédère” stop
• To Serviced apartments to your Serviced apartments from the bus station:
• Follow the signs for Route du Nant Robert
• The first 450 meters are on relatively flat terrain
• Please note: The last 150 meters before reaching the chalet a slight uphill stretch on the Nant Robert road

 Recommendations:

• Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for the final climb
• In winter, make sure the path is clear of snow
• Allow a few extra minutes if you're carrying heavy luggage

From Lyon Saint-Exupéry or Geneva airports:

• Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport (150 km away): From the airport, take a bus or train to the Annecy SNCF train station, then take a bus to Le Grand-Bornand
